Afrobeats & Amapiano DJ in Dubai
Deejay Mneddy is a Dubai-based open-format DJ whose sets are rooted in Afrobeats and Amapiano. Originally from Mombasa, Kenya, he has been DJing since 2007 and working professionally since 2012 — at Dubai clubs, private parties, corporate events and festival stages.
Music & approach
Afrobeats at the core, open format around it
An Afrobeats night rarely stays in one lane, and neither does the crowd. Deejay Mneddy builds his sets around Afrobeats and Amapiano and moves through Afro House, Hip-Hop, R&B, Dancehall, House and global hits when the room calls for it — so guests who came for the log drum and guests who came for the classics both get their moment.
The approach is the same at every booking: understand who is in the room, keep the transitions clean, and control the energy rather than chase it. A set for a late club night is paced very differently from a rooftop sundowner or a company party, and that pacing is planned before the event and adjusted live.

Choosing well
Looking for the best Afrobeats DJ for your Dubai event?
“Best” depends on your crowd, your venue and the night you have in mind. Whoever you speak to, these checks will tell you more than any title.
Listen to a full mix
A thirty-second clip shows a moment; a full mix shows range, pacing and taste. Check whether the selection goes deeper than the current chart.
Watch real crowds
Look for footage from actual events, not studio edits, and watch how the room responds across a few different nights.
Ask about your event
A good DJ asks about your guests, venue, timings and the songs that matter to you before quoting — and can explain how the set would be built.
You can do all three here: the mixes and performance videos are above, and an enquiry starts the conversation about your event.
