It helps enormously if you mention your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when the problem happened.
Unfortunately you cannot recover it, and it is worth understanding why. The app has no account server — when you register, your details are written into the encrypted keychain on your own iPhone and nowhere else. That means nobody, including us, holds a copy to reset. If you have forgotten your password, the only route back in is to delete the app and register again, which also clears your saved mixes and favourites.
We know that is a real inconvenience. It is the trade-off for an app that keeps your details on your own device rather than on somebody's server.
Yes. Everything the app stores — your account, saved mixes, favourites, settings and profile picture — lives on the phone. Deleting the app removes all of it, and there is no backup on our side to restore from.
Open Account → Settings and scroll to the Danger zone, then tap Delete Account. It removes your profile, favourites and saved preferences from the phone immediately. Deleting the app does the same thing.
Mixes stream from SoundCloud through a player embedded in the app, so playback needs a working connection. If a set will not start, check your signal, then close and reopen the app. If one specific mix fails while others play, tell us which one — that usually means something on the SoundCloud side.
The app keeps a copy of the most recently published content so it still works with no signal. If something looks out of date, close the app fully and reopen it with a connection — it refreshes on launch.
Biometric unlock is optional and is switched on under Account → Settings. The check itself is performed by iOS, not by the app, so if Face ID is failing across other apps too it is an iOS-level issue. The app only ever learns whether the check passed.
Only when you tap to set a profile picture. The image you choose is copied into the app's own storage on your device so it survives a restart. Choosing "Reset to default" deletes that copy. The app does not look at your library at any other time.
The alert switches in Settings currently save your preference for a future update — the app does not yet send push notifications. Nothing is broken on your phone. When notifications do ship, those preferences will already be set the way you left them.
